The original telescoping antenna is not damaged, CFO dial light works, mechanism, band selector and spinner work properly this a Sony ICF-8500 portable radio that covers am fm broadcast, vhf aircraft, marine hf, old beacon frequencies. The battery compartment is very clean and includes original sleeve. 5 MHz, MW am broadcast khz, and beacon khz.

Thees meter appears to be used for both signal strength and direction finding. The radio is in pretty good condition for its' age - a few scratches, and little bit of what appears to be paint over spray. The air band is MHz, fm marine The radio receiver has been tested to operate properly - however meter on front panel doesn't seem work.
