Sometimes I would lie in bed and listen to music, suspended half-wakeful dreading the thought of getting up. Nostalgic, really. Used but entirely functional clock radio. I used to use this wake up in time for school.

Even then I had a tendency to hit the snooze button, sometimes for hours in succession. It remains an elegant appliance, for a more civilized age. I plugged it in, set the time, and sound of radio static brought back those times with an almost palpable force. Its a little dusty, and some of the labels are kind worn.

Anyway, the device works. Its not an audiophile sort of device, but for its purpose, it sounds just fine.
