May be a local problem as am has never worked well here. Clock will only activate radio, no option to have an alarm go off instead. Used and in very good condition.

Fm works fine. When on am radio, I get nothing but a buzzing sound.

Has a non polarized 2 prong plug and the switch on bottom allows for 110 or 220 Volt operation. More pictures can be taken, if you should want a close up or a different angle.
