It does have a battery backup, which is a 2032 coin type battery. This has a good sized speaker and sounds and looks excellent, fully functional. Also has 2 alarms.
A Sharper Image clock radio, with very little use, no scratches or marks, looks like it just came out of the box. Speaking of box, I don't have the box or instructions, but it does come with the antenna and power supply. Please see photos for condition.
